We use 304 / 316 graded superior stainless steel to curate our Everyday Water-Resistant Jewelry collection. You can wear our pieces to the beach, gym, shower, office, or parties without having to worry about taking it off.

 How do we make your pieces last longer?

Stainless steel is a durable material that contains chromium; hence it doesn’t oxidize, rust or scratch easily. Stainless Steel used in our water-resistant jewelry is covered with three layers of long-lasting IP/PVD coating. The additional IP/PVD plating, further extends the lifespan of the jewelry. Finally, our products go through advanced 360 grinding for smooth and shiny finishing.

Stainless steel is used across a wide variety of industries and products – from medical/ surgical equipment, premium watches, culinary and surgical tools to bridges and aircrafts.

Jewelry made from stainless steel is hypoallergenic and is a perfect option for people who have sensitive skin.

What is IP/PVD gold plating?

PVD (Phase Vapor Deposition) / IP (Ionic Coating) is a technique of coating using a vapor (can be titanium, chromium, or aluminum). The coating serves as an aesthetic coating and as protection against rust, sweat, wear, scratches, seawater. IP/ PVD coatings are much thicker than gold plating, giving our jewelry a rich & smooth finish - further enhancing its longevity.

 

How to care for Stainless Steel Jewelry?

Stainless steel is a durable metal and hence requires low maintenance.

  • Soap and Water:

The simplest way to clean your stainless-steel jewelry is with a bit of gentle soap and warm water. Soak the stainless steel jewelry and let sit for a few minutes. Next, take a soft cloth and gently dry the jewelry. Rubbing or wiping should be done in the direction of the polish lines, not across them. DO NOT use oily rags or greasy cloths when wiping the product surface. For hard-to-reach areas, like grooves or engravings, you can use a soft-bristled toothbrush.

  • Baking Soda:

Make a thick paste of baking soda with water, use a toothbrush to slowly clean your jewelry. Once you've cleaned it thoroughly take a lint-cloth to dry your piece.

Tips to further increase the life of your stainless-steel jewelry:

  • Avoid harsh chemicals. Bleach and chlorine may shorten the lifespan of your jewelry
  • If you choose to go with a jewelry cleaner, make sure that it is safe to use on stainless steel metals, as some cleaners can be abrasive and scratch steel.
  • Avoid storing your jewelry with other sharp objects to avoid scratches.
